This guy just will not let it go. Donald Sterling who is literally the most hated man in America via a poll that was done a couple weeks ago, is looking for even more people to hate him. Rather than face facts that he messed up and realize the best thing for everyone is to just sell the team and let go of his ego he is doing the exact opposite. Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling’s team of lawyers has hired four private investigation firms to dig up “dirt” on the NBA’s former and current commissioners and its 29 other owners, a source confirmed. Investigators were given a six-figure budget over the next 30 days to examine the league’s finances, allegations of previous discriminatory conduct, and compensation to past commissioner David Stern and current commissioner Adam Silver, said the AP source, who spoke Thursday night on condition of anonymity. The person wasn’t authorized to talk publicly. The person said the investigators also are looking into whether other owners made any off-color jokes, or racist or sexist remarks.

He is doing this for one of two reasons. Either to bring other owners and NBA personnel down with him when he finally exits the NBA, or to blackmail other owners to possibly change their vote when and if they ever have to vote Sterling out. He already stated earlier this week that his $1 billion dollar lawsuit against the league is back on and he will not step aside as owner of the Clippers so easily.

My personal belief is lawyers involved are the ones keeping in his ear about not giving up. The longer Donald drags this out the more money they make. Either way it is painfully clear that this is going to take a while.
