Good news, all of the students were cleared with no trace of the drug in their systems. Bad news is that there are sick enough people out there who would allow their 6 year old daughter to some how get a hold of 11 bundles of heroin to bring to school with her.

Imagine having to get that call that your 6 year old might have been exposed to heroin while they were at SCHOOL?! That’s unbelievable. The parents of the young girl, Marie Hunter, 32, and Christopher Troy-Jenkins White, 28, are currently being charged for endangerment and narcotics possession, police said on Wednesday.

Apparently, the heroin was discovered after a teacher saw the girl playing with one of the bundles and then found one inside of her mouth. “One of the packages looks like it was bitten and we do have one student saying the young lady who did bring the substance to school did have it in her mouth” said Philadelphia Police Lt. Johnny Walker.

How the drug got into the school is still under investigation, but who would really ever expect a 6 year old to be smuggling anything dangerous into an elementary school? “We do not frisk student first graders when they are coming to school. So the student probably had it somewhere concealed. But didn’t know what it was,” said Fernando Gallard of the Philadelphia school district.
