Two of the most anticipated albums of the year belong to Kendrick Lamar and Lil Wayne. Currently, Wayne is touring with Drake to drum up the excitement for, Tha Carter V. K. Dot on the other hand, has been very hush hush about when we can expect his release (Tapping fingers Kendrick).

The TDE emcee dropped his latest single, “i” this week. Due to the switch up, we’re not use to hearing from Kendrick, the social media world went bananas. It’s only going to get more wild since there is a possibility that Kendrick will be featured on Wayne’s upcoming album.

After the release of “i,” Kendrick stopped by Big Boy’s Neighborhood on LA’s Power 106 – too spit a hot freestyle – where he dropped a dope freestyle and explained his reasoning for the single.

K. Dot also spoke to Power 106’s J. Cruz and Justin Credile to discuss working with Weezy F.

“Me and Wayne worked. I don’t know if it’ll be on Tha Carter V, or if it’ll be a leak. I’ve always been a fan of Wayne, so wherever it goes, it’s all love with me. I’m just honored to work with bro. He’s always been an influential cat coming up.”
