Although the singer has been semi-hush these days – there was the sick 2014 BET Awards performance of “I Wanna Be Down,” with Queen Latifah and others – the business hasn’t stopped behind the scenes. Brandy talks to The Brandy Blog’s own Vaughn Alvarez and discuss some of the upcoming ventures, such as reality tv.

Lately, Ray J has been talking of a reality show (as if him saying “you can Google my d**k” on the LHHH reunion wasn’t enough reality) dedicated to the ‘family business’. When asked if there was something on the way, Brandy says, “we gon’ see.” Not a super fan of being the object of reality television, she also mentions, “Reality for me is still on the fence, because imma be honest with you, when a camera gets in front of me, and it’s in the reality setting, I freeze up.” We’ll see if Ray J convinces her into the whole thing.

The sibling duo starred in the 2010 reality tv show, Brandy & Ray J: A Family Business and she seemed to have done fine with that. Eh…who is actually interested in the behind the scenes life of Brandy? Curious to know, what would you like to know about the singer?

In addition to tv talk, Brandy talks to Vaughn about her upcoming seventh studio album and unconditional love.

Over this past year, what have you learned that love is to you?

That’s such a big question. I know for a fact that love really is unconditional. And I think we say that, but I don’t think we really understand the true meaning of that. Love remains through everything. Through anger, through pain, through dishonesty. Whatever it is, love remains. I just think that I’m learning everyday to accept that it’s okay to love someone regardless if you’re together or if you’re not. If your friends or if you’re not. You know, whatever the situation is.
