Although the picture perfect love story between Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon may have come to an end, in a recent interview with Urban Ink Cannon has admitted that Mariah Carey will always be the love of his life.
After being caught by TMZ and stating that when it comes to the both of them getting back together ‘Never Say Never’, Cannon revealed in his latest interview, that he knew that his words would be misinterpreted.
“I’m learning. I should’ve just ignored them, got in the car, and shut my mouth.”
Cannon went onto explain his feelings post him and Mariah separating, by stating that he will always have love for her. And that he did not necessarily cover his tribute Mariah tattoo on his back, he just added on to it, marking the new stage of his life.
“It’s always going to be there and it’s not anything that I’m ashamed of, I just feel like now I’m at a different point in my life, so I feel like instead of saying I covered it up, I added to it.”
