IFWT_Floyd Mayweather Warriors game

Floyd Mayweather recently called in to Shade45 for an interview and he touched on a few topics and went more in depth than previously heard. Mayweather coins himself as the “First 48” and also talks big bucks that were raked in from the historic fight. Click more to check out the audio!

First 48 wins! Mayweather called into Whoo Kid to discuss winning the fight and some more interesting topics as well. Once and for all, Floyd put the haters and dissatisfied viewers to bed when he was asked about people’s response to his fight. Simply put Floyd answered, “I’m the best at boxing, every move is calculated, it’s called boxing not toe-to-toe combat,” and he even stated that this fight was no different from any of his others. Again, another great point because it seems that after every fight, the response is always the same: the fight was boring.

Whoo Kid also asked Floyd about his current standing with T.I and ended up giving more than what was asked. Floyd spoke on the scuffle that he and T.I. had in Vegas last year and he also put a lot of rumors to bed with that as well. Mayweather was very classy with his statements about T.I. and Tiny saying, “Tiny has always been cool and has always been like a sister…I respect a married man and I respect T.I’s situation but I have to defend myself if someone approaches me in a disrespectful manner…I didn’t swing on T.I. and he didn’t swing on me, I held T.I and he got up and left,” but he did make it seem like he son’d T.I during that commotion! LOL. Either way, good thing he put that to bed and behind him.

The Interview…

Mayweather briefly spoke on his relationship with 50 and he says there was never a beef between the two. I don’t know if I can agree with that since 50 was going pretty hard on social media but at least they are on good terms now. Floyd also had some choice words for those in the entertainment that said he could not read, “I don’t joke like that, I’m not here to tear down the black community because I’m in a position to build it up…for all those that talked bad about me, I just pray for them…I made $25 million outside the ring,” and again, a very classy statement.

This interview was definitely a good look for Floyd as he addressed a lot of things in more depth than we have seen previously. I doubt we’ll get any responses from those that were addressed though.
