If you’re anything like myself, you like to read gritty sex novels such as the Fifty Shades of Grey trilogy. I have read all three novels; so it was a must that I see the film when it came out in theaters February of this year. I saw that film and was hype, however, once I got through the full film, I was PISSED. I read the books … I know what’s suppose to happen and when … why the half a**? Well, come to find out, Fifty Shades Darker [part two] was in the works; that was until the original film’s director Sam Taylor-Johnson decided to exit stage left – rumor mill is that she was not getting along with E.L. James, the author of the series.

Here I am patiently waiting for the next move, and now there’s a new director.

Dakota Johnson [who will be back in the sequel, along with co-star Jamie Dornan] opens up about the director old and new; James Foley (Glengarry Glen Ross).

“There was a moment of being afraid, because I didn’t know what it was going to be like. I had an experience with Sam [Taylor-Johnson] and then that all went away. Now I’m excited. I think James is a talented filmmaker. How often do you get to reconvene with the same people and have a different spin?”

In other Fifty Shades Darker news, it’s being said that the CW’s The Vampire Diaries actor Ian Somerhalder will be joining the cast. According to the Inquisitr. Somerhalder will play Jack Hyde, Anastatia’s boss that pushes up a little too closely.

Listen, I’m here for all of these new additions. BRING ON THE MOVIE!
