Selfies are taking the world by storm! We’ve seen the president take selfies. We’ve seen celebrities take selfies on the red carpet, and of course, lets not forget the beautiful, Kim Kardashian West, who graced us all with a book of all selfies.

Wednesday night, while the Arizona Diamondbacks played the Colorado Rockies, a group of sorority sisters caught everyone’s attention after hitting the concession stand declaring it selfie time!

The photo of the girls all in their phones and posing for pictures went completely viral. All eyes were on them and cameras zoomed and commentators critiqued.

“Every girl in the picture is locked into her phone,” the announcer says in the clip. “Every single one is dialed in. Welcome to parenting in 2015,”

said one announcer.

The Diamondbacks featured the ladies of Alpha Chi Omega on their Twitter and SnapChat accounts and later offered the ladies tickets to the next game, for which they declined and came up with a counter offer instead.

“Alpha Chi Omega at Arizona State University would like to thank the Arizona Diamondbacks and Fox Sports for reaching out to the chapter after last night’s game and subsequent media frenzy. However, instead of chapter members attending the game, we have asked the Diamondbacks and Fox Sports to provide tickets to a future game for families at A New Leaf, a local non-profit that helps support victims of domestic violence.”

It is uncertain as to whether or not the Arizona team will comply with the counter offer, but one would hope that the two groups can find a happy middle ground.

As for the girls and their selfies, I don’t think those will stop any time soon.
