An investigation has been initiated after fire alarms blared and disrupted the sleep of the Carolina Panthers. According to the players themselves, the sirens only went off on the two floors where the Panthers were staying.

The hotel was evacuated at around 5:40 this morning and reportedly, returned to their beds by 6.

This week’s game against Seattle is huge because the Panthers are undefeated.

The Seahawks will go into this game 2-3 and do not seem like the same team that we’ve gotten used to watching. This week will be crucial for the outcome of the Seattle season, which is why the fire alarm incident is not believed to be a mistake.

Panthers front-man, Steven Drummond made a statement on the incident.

“Obviously, this is an issue that directly affects our club. We will let the hotel and the league investigate.”

We’ll keep updates as the investigation continues.
