The election is about a year away, but candidates are already campaigning. Donald Trump leads the Republican party in popularity right now. Meanwhile, Hillary Clinton leads the Democratic party. So, experts asked Americans who they would rather have as president. This is a pretty common occurrence with any election approaching.

Currently, more people would like Hillary Clinton to be president than would like Donald Trump to be president. These numbers may change as the time goes by, but it is an excellent indicator of at least who leads the parties. Trump and Clinton got more votes than anyone else in their parties, which points to them as probable official candidates.

Granted, a few months before the actual election both Republican and Democrat investors choose their official candidates. Bankrolls break out and commercials go into overdrive as these candidates canvas [tour] the country in buses. Usually the candidates they pick for these tours come out of the shadows as if from no where.

This kind of selection will allow investors to modify the candidates’ images with a clean slate. This coming election may prove very different. Clinton set her sights on the White House decades ago and campaigns like a pro. Meanwhile, whether Trump is in this for fame or fortitude it is deniable how influential he is.
