The tribute that the Golden State Warriors and Jerry West gave Kobe Bryant last night will give you the chills. In the Black Mamba’s final game at Oracle Arena, West and the Warriors went all out to show him the respect a living legend like him deserves. West as you might remember was the man responsible for getting Kobe to the Lakers in the first place. It was clear the players knew the importance of the night as well, as Draymond Green made sure to get Kobe’s game worn kicks and have him sign them. Green then posted his own tribute after the game.

That was prior to the game and just another show of love Kobe gets for everything he has down over the past two decades.

After the game ended, Draymond Green was the lucky recipient of Kobe’s kicks and he made sure to get them signed. Kobe wrote Green a nice message which he showed off on twitter. He then added his own caption, saying “Star struck by two players when I entered the league… G Hill and @kobebryant THANK YOU!!! Much respect!!!”
