Its been 16 years since Big Pun left us. Pun was such a huge influence on the Hip-Hop game
Today IFWT would like to take the time out on this day to remember him.
(November 10, 1971 – February 7, 2000)

Pun was born on November 10, 1971 in The Bronx, NY. He was known as the first latino rapper to have an album go platinum as a solo act. His album “Capital Punishment” sold 2 million copies, and was #1 on the hip-hop charts. Pun got his big break when he became cool with rapper Fat Joe in 1995. The two formed an amazing brotherhood after Pun was featured on Joe’s song “Watch Out.” Pun then joined “Terror Squad” which consisted of a group of latino rappers. Joe was included in the group. Together, they did damage.
In 1997, “I’m Not a Player,” hit top of the charts. Such a hit that everyone to this day can still bump.

Big Pun, you are highly missed.

Gone but never forgotten. Rest in Peace.
