Nick Young has a deal with Adidas now but he had been wearing Nike since going back to his college days. According to him, besides the fact that Kanye is down with the stripes now, Swaggy P claimed the swoosh only cared about the three main players of Lebron James, Kevin Durant & Kobe Bryant. I’m not sure why that was a shock to him but nonetheless he seems to have taken it personal.

“Nike is really only three people. Kobe [Bryant], [Kevin] Durant and LeBron [James],” Young said. “I like the concept of how Adidas adds everybody in their shoe commercial. The way Adidas is going and the waves they’ve got, I was getting on board.”
Either way it’s not really a bad move for Young. He is still getting money with Adidas and he seems to like the fact they include more of their athletes in their campaigns. He had rocked Yeezy’s a couple times this season and he said he told Adidas he needed Yeezy’s entire collection when he signed the deal.
For their part, Nike doesn’t seem to mind he is gone. They are doing just fine with their big three.
