After releasing the posthumous J Dilla album, The Diary, Pay Jay and Mass Appeal Records produce a short documentary about how the project was completed for the legend.

The almost 7-minute short doc includes footage of Dilla explaining his vision for The Diary, including some additional commentary from collaborators. The album was seen in the top 5 of the Billboard Rap Album Charts upon it’s release and received critical acclaim. It features Snoop Dogg, Bilal, Nas, and more.
