According to a new report in Page Six, Jamie Foxx and Katie Holmes have reportedly gone their separate ways…all before they even officially announced that they’re a couple!

A source close to Foxx reportedly claims they split because he didn’t want to go public, saying:

“Jamie wants to continue to act like the carefree guy he is in public. Eventually, the question had to come about whether he was committed enough to the relationship.”

I don’t know how true that is – as I always thought perhaps Katie didn’t want to go public because of a possible arrangement she’s worked out with the nutbag that is Tom Cruise. Hmm!

Reps for both Katie and Foxx did not respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
