A good friend of Tupac Shakur has now passed away. 48-year-old, Big Syke , who’s real name Tyruss Himes, dropped verses on a bunch of Pac’s tracks. He featured on “All Eyez on Me,” “Picture Me Rollin'” and “Check Out Time.” Syke was also a member of Tupac’s Thug Life group.
No autopsy has been performed yet, but it is believed that Syke died of natural causes. He reportedly had a history of heart issues and obesity. He was found dead in his California home late Monday night. Law enforcements officers say the police were the first to arrive on the scene followed by the L.A. County Coroner. No foul play has been suspected in the death.
In the past, Syke has done many interviews on why Tupac was the best and also why there can never be another him. He says they met at a studio, when Pac had just got signed. Syke says Pac had a lot of fire in him. He described Pac as someone that was leading a pack.
May Big Syke rest in peace. Now he’s up above with his brother Pac in a better place.
