Dwyane Wade is backing his “brother” LeBron James in the verbal war against Charles Barkley, saying he’s happy James finally ripped the NBA analyst.“Thank God [LeBron] finally said something,” Wade told the Chicago Tribune after his former teammate went off on Chuck Monday night.

“LeBron, a lot of guys take a lot of shots at him, for whatever reason… He’s just kept his mouth closed and you know continued to focus on what he need to. But it’s about time he said something.”

James previously brushed off Barkley’s comments as things he had to say to get ratings, but Chuck’s latest comments calling LeBron “whiny” for talking about needing a playmaker, was apparently the last straw.  James eviscerated Barkley, talking about his gambling habit, his violent streak, his drinking, and partying.  Wade noted that someone with that many issues in his history should watch what they say.

“Guys ride him, especially ex-players.  When you got a history, when you can go and Google your history, you need to be a little careful with what you say,”

“I’m glad LJ finally said something and stood up for himself,” Wade added … “He said there’s a new sheriff in town so I’m excited to see what’s next.”
