FCC Proposes To Fund WiFi In Schools

While schools, and classrooms do have internet access they do not however have WiFi. The FCC’s E-rate program is proposing to get over 10 million students online in 2015. This project is costly coming in at $1 billion and would modernize E-rates broadband distribution rules. Some are skeptical about weather students would use computer labs more or if the program will just keep kids connected in classrooms and on their phones.


Google Search Just Got MORE Useful!!!

The other day Google introduced its new search engine featuring the ability to open up music apps automatically. Meaning when you tap a link from a google search for music content on a smartphone or tablet Google will open the application for you. Pretty Cool.


Iraq Goes Dark As Facebook, Youtube And Twitter Are Banned

The country’s Ministry of Communications has blocked access to a number of social media sites on Friday including Facebook, twitter and youtube. According to Mashable an organization called Cyber Arabs located in Lebanon monitors internet freedom and provides cybersecurity training in the middle-East and North Africa confirmed that these forms of social communication were indeed blocked.

Apple iWatch Reportedly Launches In October?!?

Apple will be launching its much-rumored iWatch this October, according to multiple reports out. The company is reportedly looking to produce three to five million units per month. The iWatch will come in two sizes 1.3 inches and 1.5-1.7 inches and will run on iOS 8 and will bring new fitness and tracking apps. This is huge for wearable techs.


NetFlix Updates Feature In Android Phones Let’s You Go Binge Watch Now!

Netflix automatically plays the next episode for you but it’s mobile version did not have this feature. Netflix announced that it have released an update for Android phones that brings Post-Play to these devices.
