Performers Announced For The 2016 mtvU Woodies
A$AP Rocky has been tapped to host this year’s mtvU Woodie Awards, airing live from SXSW on Wednesday, March 16 at 9pm. Sticking with the SXSW theme, however, the Woodies are switching up their show this year, and instead of a traditional awards ceremony, the hour-long broadcast “will look more like a festival highlighting 10 new artists primed to have an amazing year in 2016.” Hitting the stage will be Travi$ Scott, Chvrches, The Chainsmokers, Jack Garratt, Kehlani, Anderson .Paak & The Free Nationals, Lukas Graham, Jidenna, BØRNS and A$AP Ferg. “I did my first big performance on the Woodies and I’m excited to come back this year,” Scott said. “Get ready for the ride of your life!” Who are you looking forward to seeing the most?
