Reports Of A Shooter At LAX Last Night Were A False Alarm

Much like an incident at JFK airport in NYC earlier this month, reports of an active shooter at Los Angeles’ LAX airport last night turned out to be a false alarm. The popular airport was temporarily shut down and evacuated last night around 9pm PST, after several loud noises were heard inside, leading patrons to think it was gunfire. Several videos were shared on social media of what can only be described as a chaotic scene, with people running as fast as they can with their huge luggage, and tons of suitcases left behind as people just said “f it” and tried to run for safety.


(Video) Active Shooter Reported At San Diego Navy Medical Center

According to San Diego authorities, an active shooter was reported at the Naval Medical Center in San Diego. The active shooter was reported around 8AM at the Balboa medical center Building 26. In a message on the Facebook page of the center it was written,

“**!ATTENTION!** An active shooter has just been been reported in building #26 at Naval Medical Center San Diego. All occupants are advised to run, hide or fight,”

The San Diego Fire Department confirmed that military police are on the scene and investigating the report. More information below.

According to police reports, at least twelve people have been killed following an active shooter situation in San Bernardino on Wednesday. The shooting took place at the Inland Regional Center, which operates as a nonprofit working with individuals with developmental disabilities. Police are currently searching the building for one to three shooters. The shooters have been described as armed with rifles wearing ski masks. Read more below.

The gunman who attacked a Navy Reserve yesterday in Chattanooga, Tennessee has been identified as Mohammod Youssuf Abdulazeez. The 24 year-old from Hixson, Tennessee went on a shooting rampage that killed four Marines and ended in his own death. Police are now investigating the motive behind the killings.


‘Active Shooter’ At Tennessee Navy Reserve Police Investigate “Horrific Incident”

Update 2:36PM: Law enforcement officials have confirmed the shooter involved in the Chattanooga incident is dead. They do not believe there is more than one shooter. Update: A tweet sent out by the mayor of Chattanooga, Tennessee around 1:15PM confirmed that the “active shooter” situation was over. During the attack at least two two military facilities were sprayed with gunfire. So far it is unclear how many people were hurt during the attack. Mayor Andy Berke only revealed there was one officer “down,” after what he called “very terrible situation.” Read more below.
