To the average consumer they were both the samething in the first place, I personally never heard anyone say they were getting a RIM Blackberry, the company and device went together for a lot of folks. The announcement came earlier today when they announced their newer devices the Z10 and The Q10. What does this mean for RIM/Blackberry, nothing much but building a stronger brand name for itself and trying to dig themselves out of a hole RIM created. Hopefully the name change will bring a new change on how the company will be ran from here on out.

I thought the Blackberry craze was over, apparently not. Brian Heffren of Middletown, New York went out and got a tattoo of the Blackberry 10 Logo and website Crackberry logo. Leaked BlackBerry 10 Slides Shows Video Calling and Screen Sharing

Alleged Specs For RIM’s Blackberry Z10 Leaks
More leaked info has hit the net about RIM’s Z10 Blackberry, website BBin has some strong claims about the device and they say they have the final spec sheet for he device. According to the spec sheet the Z10 shoulf have a “TI OMAP 4470 1.5GHz dual-core processor (Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8960 for the U.S. and Canada), a 4.2-inch display (1,280 x 768 resolution), quad-band LTE, 2GB of RAM, 16GB or 32GB of internal storage, an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, a 2-megapixel front camera, a microSD card slot, and an 1,800 mAh removable battery”. Another day and another leak from RIM’s offices this time we get the N-series, RIM’s full physcial qwerty BB10 device which drops in June 2013. This will be the second device RIM will be putting their money on to keep afloat if not it could be lights out for the folks over there.
