There’s been a lot of talk and ongoing studies about CTE and what causes the damage. So far the NFL has taken the brunt of the criticism but there’s been speculation about the effects of boxing, MMA and action sports. Now we have the first known case of that same chronic brain damage in action sports. BMX icon Dave Mirra, who died in February, suffered from CTE, a University of Toronto neuropathologist has concluded. Multiple neuropathologists confirmed the diagnosis.

The Nike SB Dunk High consists of a all black Euphoria Nubuck upper with Nike’s classic Safari print on the eyestay and collar. The all white midsole sits atop a gum outsole, and to finish them off the insoles contain Nigel’s signature on the right and S.O.M.P (Standing On My Pedals) on the left. Sports: Olympics Considering Adding 3-on-3 Hoops & BMX Freestyle
I would love to see both of these added to the Olympics! With three years until the Rio Games, 3-on-3 basketball and BMX freestyle are trying to join the Olympics.
