Homeland Security Orders Customs To Verify All Student Visas

Following the Boston Marathon bombings and the arrest of Dzhokhar Tsarnaev’s friends, Homeland Security is now ordering customs to verify all student visas as soon as possible. Dzhokhar’s three friends, who throw away his laptop and backpack full of fireworks, were all in the country on student visas. One of the three friends was let back into the country in January without a valid visas. Although I do think that all student visas should be verified, I feel like they should have been verified all along and something horrific shouldn’t have to occur for things to get done properly.  Read more below.


Boston Bomber Suspects Had More Attacks Planned

The two brothers, Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, who caused havoc at the Boston Marathon, were supposedly plotting to set their bombs off on July Fourth of this year.


Three More Arrested With Ties To Boston Marathon Bombing

As this story seems to keep developing more and more every day, the Boston Police Department tweeted that three additional suspects have been arrested with ties to the bombings. Azamat Tazhayako and Dias Kadyrbayev, two of those that were arrested, were already in custody on immigration charges. The third suspect, who’s identity has yet to be revealed, is an U.S. citizen. According to various news outlets, the three suspects had NO prior knowledge of the planned bombing attacks. Although however, they did help to get rid of Dzhokhar Tsarnaev (the Boston Marathon Bomber) belongings, and then lied to the police officials during questioning of Dzhokhar’s whereabouts.


Boston Officials Say Tsarnaev Brothers Worked Alone But Planned More Violence

Although we still have no clear motive to their horrific actions, we are learning more and more about the Tsarnaev brothers and the Boston Marathon bombings. Boston officials announced today that the brothers acted alone, but did plan on more violent attacks. Officials are hoping to gain more information from younger brother, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, if he is ever able to speak. The reports show that the brothers threw homemade grenades and more explosives at police officers on the night that older brother, Tamerlan, was killed. Drop down for more information.


Update On Dzhokhar Tsarnaev’s Condition

Dzhokhar Tsarnaev was captured alive on Friday night after a long manhunt that shut down the entire city. Tsarnaev was rushed to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. Upon entering the hospital, Tsarnaev was listed in critical condition but is now in more stable condition. Authorities are still unable to speak to him due to a wound to the neck, but are hoping to interrogate him soon. It is still unknown what charges he will be facing or when they will charge him. According to medical personnel, if Tsarnaev wasn’t captured when he was, he would not have survived and would have bleed out. Read more below.


Boston Band Raises $65,000 For Their Hometown In Only 15 Hours

The Dropkick Murphys were Boston heroes previous to the Boston Marathon bombing and are doing everything they can to help aid the people of their hometown. The punk band have raised $65,000 thus far for the people affected by the bombings. Dropkick Murphys raised that amount of money in only 15 hours, so I’m sure more will be raised as time goes on.
