If it’s not one thing it’s another. In the most recent news of shitty things cops do, one officer from Philly was caught on hidden camera trying to extort a motorist. In the video the officer pulled over the driver and told him if he didn’t buy tickets to ‘support your police department’ he would take his car because it was unregistered. The officer clearly thought he was doing them a favor because he said, “support cops like me who instead of taking your shit you’re walking.” Check out the full video below.

Veteran cop, Iraq war veteran, husband and father of three Joshua Spratt is under fire after being accused sexual encounters with two teenagers outside of cemeteries and and elementary school. Hundreds of peaceful activists from across the nation gathered at Cleveland State University this weekend for the first national conference to discuss escalating tensions between black communities and police departments throughout the country. After the closing of the conference, as folks were going home, many remained in the streets. Apparently, the police department believed this could create a potential traffic problem, so they attempted at dispersing the crowd.

Back in March, The Game apparently laid hands on an off-duty police officer. While the two participated in a basketball game at the Hollywood High School gym, things got really hectic; at least to the point hands were flown. Following the incident, an arrest warrant was issued for Game. The California-raised rapper decided to turn himself in on Monday afternoon, where he was then booked on suspicion of making criminal threats. Just an hour later, he posted his $50,000 bail. A Cleveland police officer has been found not guilty after he stood on the hood of the victims car and shot inside the vehicle, killing two unarmed black occupants. Nice! Black Mother Writes Heart-Felt Letter To White Police Officer For Helping Her Son!
Now-a-days, all the media focuses on is all of the negative things that police officers do. However, there are TONS of amazing cops out there who help people, regardless of color. An African-American mother from Virginia penned a very heart-felt letter to a white state trooper via her Facebook page, praising him for helping her son change his flat tire on the highway while he was coming back from college. Dr. Nada Owusu wrote that her son Joseph, who is a student at Virginia Tech, randomly caught a flat out of nowhere while driving. She explains that the trooper, Matt Okes, did not ask if the Mercedes was stolen but immediately proceeded to get on the ground and try to fix the tire himself. When his efforts failed, he wanted for hours with the 20-year-old until AAA arrived to the scene, calling Okes “our hero.” She also reveals that Okes made sure the on-going traffic was aware that there was a disabled vehicle on the road, keeping Joseph out of harm’s way.
