It was exciting for us as viewers to see both UFC champions Conor McGregor and Holly Holm go down in one night after rising to stardom so quickly. It wasn’t so great for the fighters and UFC president Dana White, who stood to make a lot of money. Ronda Rousey vs. Holly Holm part 2 was supposed to be a major rematch but Rousey wouldn’t be ready until November and Holm elected to fight now, taking the fight against Miesha Tate which ended up being a big mistake. White ripped Holly Holm’s manager for letting it happen.

You may have thought Diaz lost by the way his face looked if you saw him after the fight but he was able to sustain some punishment but stay focused. In the other main event, the legend of Holly Holm was also short lived as she lost to Miesha Tate, pulling her back down to reality after her legendary win over Ronda Rousey.
