William Balfour was charged with the murder of Jennifer Hudson’s mother,57-year-old Darnell Donelson,her brother,29-year-old Jason Hudson and nephew 7-year-old Julian King back in 2008. In 2012, he was sentenced to life in prison without parole. Balfour is now claiming that he is innocent and had nothing to do with the murders. The adults were found dead in the house while the 7-year-old victim was found in a car that Balfour had stolen. However, Balfour said he was set up.

The guest list included star power like Alicia Keys, girlfriend Katie Holmes and his Dreamgirls co-star Jennifer Hudson.
