Ever since she starred in the Selena Quintanilla biopic back in the day, J.Lo has alwyays resembled a spitting image of the late Mexican performer, Selena. At the 2015 Latin Billboard Music Awards, Jennifer Lopez hit the stage in an extravagant dress to honor the legendary singer’s life with an extremely touching and heart-felt tribute. She joined Los Dinos on stage, Selena’s old bandmates (and siblings,) Suzette and A.B. and her widow Chris Perez. J.Lo opened the tribute by performing “Como La Flor” (without a dry eye watching) and then transitioned to “Bidi Bidi Bom Bom” and later went on to perform some of her classic hits such as “Amor Prohibido,” “I Could Fall In Love” and “No Me Queda Mas.” The whole performance was extremely emotional, but beautifully constructed and thought-out. In a recent essay on Project Syndicate, Google’s executive chairman Eric Schmidt opened up about the invention of Google Image Search, and revealed that J. Lo and her jaw-dropping Versace attire were a major reason for it! “People wanted more than just text. This first became apparent after the 2000 Grammy Awards, where Jennifer Lopez wore a green dress that, well, caught the world’s attention,” Schmidt wrote. “At the time, it was the most popular search query we had ever seen. But we had no surefire way of getting users exactly what they wanted: J!Lo wearing that dress. Google Image Search was born.”

When asked if she’d heard about TIDAL during a recent red-carpet interview at American Idol, Jen responded, “No, I did not.” When the interviewer explained what it is, Jen laughed and told her, “Oh, okay,” and added, “I don’t know anything about it, sweetie,” when the interviewer asked if she’d like to be a part of it.
