NBA: Kevin Durant Sticks Up for Greg Oden, Calls Bust Talk ‘Nonsense’

Greg Oden was taken No. 1 in the 2007 NBA Draft, and Kevin Durant was selected as the No. 2 pick.  Oden was believed to be a future Hall of Famer and the next Shaquille O’Neal, but multiple knee injuries kept him sidelined and in five seasons with the Portland Trail Blazers he only played 82 games.  Durant, on the other hand, has grown to be one of the biggest stars in the league.  Oden recently called himself one of the biggest busts in NBA history, but his draftmate Durant doesn’t agree.

NBA: Klay Thompson on if He’s in a Shooting Slump Because of Kevin Durant

Golden State star Klay Thompson previously said he was ‘not sacrificing sh-t,’ and isn’t changing his game with the addition of Kevin Durant, who left the Oklahoma City Thunder in free agency this summer to join the Warriors.  Despite Thompson’s previous claims, he’s opened the season with a shooting slump and many people are wondering if it had anything to do with the acquisition of Durant.

NBA: Kevin Durant Responds To The Photographer Vest Russell Westbrook Denies Had Anything To Do With Him

When Kevin Durant isn’t terrorizing opposing defenses on the court, one of the things he enjoys most is photography. He famously had the opportunity to be an on field photographer during Super Bowl 50 and he loved every second of it. So when Russell Westbrook showed up to Oracle arena in Oakland last night for the Thunder’s matchup with the Warriors coincidentally dressed as a photographer, many people assumed it was a shot at Durant. Despite the topic completely taking over social media, Russell said it was all for not and his fashion choice had nothing to do with KD.

NBA: Kevin Durant Expects Anthony Davis To Easily Win The Scoring Title

Kevin Durant was full of high praise for Anthony Davis yesterday ahead of the Warriors matchup with the Pelicans. Davis dropped 50 points in the season opening loss to the Nuggets and is a popular pick to win either the MVP award or the scoring title. KD doesn’t seem to think the scoring title will even be a close race.

(Video) NBA: Kevin Durant Yells At Imaginary Reporters & Fans For Motivation After Practice

Kevin Durant is already one of the best basketball players in the world, with a whole slew of accolades to back that position up, yet he still finds himself with something to prove after taking his talents to the Warriors this summer. Social media was full of jokes and trash talk about the Warriors this week after they were blown out by the Spurs on opening night. From the looks of this video, KD has been hearing the chatter and it’s only motivating him.

(Photos) NBA: Twitter Goes In on Kevin Durant With Jokes After Warriors Blow Out Loss to Spurs

The Golden State Warriors had an incredible season, finishing 73-9.  They started last season with 24 straight wins.  Since they added superstar Kevin Durant this summer, it was assumed that they would be even better this year.  Well, that win streak to start the season is already off the table because they lost the opening game to the San Antonio Spurs.  Not only did they lose, they lost BADLY as the Spurs won 129-100.  There were jokes on the Warriors, but the Durant really took a killing on social media as many still disapprove of him joining the team that beat him in the Western Conference finals just a couple months ago.
