Looks like Empire‘s Cookie Lyon could be getting her very own prequel series. According to creator Lee Daniels, he thinks its a definite possibility. Nothing is in the works so far, but Daniels told Television Critics Association’s (TCA) during press tour in Beverly Hills that he’s seriously considering a spin-off that focuses on a younger version of Taraji P. He took to his Instagram page to share a video at a pool party in Vegas of our beloved “Cookie” getting her twerk on in a skimpy bathing suit. “She’s troubled…#Deeplytroubled #SMH #IAintShitForThis @TarajiPHenson,” Daniels wrote as the caption for the video.
