Kanye West Is Already Dealing With Protestors Over “Yeezus” Lyrics
His new album Yeezus only just dropped yesterday, but Kanye West is already dealing with drama from protestors over his lyrics. In the album cut “On Sight,” Yeezy raps, “A monster about to come alive again / Soon as I pull up and park the Benz / We get this bitch shaking like Parkinson’s”….and the American Parkinson Disease Association is none to happy about it. The organization’s VP Kathryn Whitford released a statement, saying, “We find these lyrics distasteful and the product of obvious ignorance.” No reply yet from Ye, but I’m assuming there probably won’t be one.

Lil Wayne’s lyrics on Future’s track “Karate Chop” have caused quite the controversy, after the rapper promised to “beat that p#ssy up like, Emmett Till”. The Till family came out recently so outraged over the lyric, that they actually wanted Mountain Dew to drop Wayne as an endorser. In light of the drama, Tune has issued a full apology to the family. Rocko Decides To Take Rick Ross OFF Of “U.O.E.N.O.” Over Date Rape Lyric
The controversy surrounding Rocko’s “U.O.E.N.O.” has gotten so big at this point, it’s overshadowing the actual song. Rick Ross’ date rape lyric has prompted responses to the track from womens’ groups nationwide, as well as being the topic of conversation amongst Twitter users on a daily basis. Talking to Hot 97’s Ebro and K. Foxx this morning, the ATL rapper revealed he’d be taking Ross off the record moving forward, and that the remix has 6 major artists, though they likely all won’t make the final cut.
