(Video) Huge Group Gathers To Protest Outside Of Reebok; Demand They Drop Rick Ross For “Date Rape” Lyric

72,000 people have apparently signed a petition, demanding Rick Ross to be dropped from Reebok after his “date rape” lyric in Rocko’s “U Don’t Even Know It” track. Though Ross took to his Twitter today to issue a [half-assed] apology, protestors aren’t buying it, and gathered outside of Reebok’s flagship store in New York City today to demand they sever ties with the MMG boss. Below, some protestors speak on their stance. Personally, I feel Ross was wildly wrong. And his apology is so ridiculous. He’s saying everyone “misinterpreted” what he was saying…but never offered the explanation for what it was that he was really saying. SMH.

(Video) Sports: LOL, Bob Costas Drops Ludacris Lyrics on MLB Network

See what Jay-Z started! Lol. It’s pretty entertaining to watch someone who you pretty much know isn’t into hip hop drop some lyrics.  While I was surprised to see Bob Costas recite Luda’s lyrics about him, it made sense.  Lord knows I can’t rap, so if someone like Luda dropped a line about me – I would know it by heart too!  Lol.  Check out Bob Costas quoting Ludacris’ lyrics on MLB Network last night…

(MUST SEE VIDEO) Rick Ross Speaks On Lyrics In ‘U.O.E.N.O.’ Song

So it seem’s there was a controversy and ‘you ain’t even know it’. a couple of days ago some websites pointed out lyrics that could be taking as possible ‘Date Rape’ Lyrics, well Rozay has decided to speak to the people and let them know where he’s coming from. Hit the Jump.

Did Rick Ross Take It Too Far With His Date-Rape Lyric? This Radio Station Seems To Think So!

The lyrics in a new Rick Ross verse have been the topic of many a Twitter conversation as of late, as it’s quite appalling what he’s attempting to glorify in song. “Put molly all in her champagne, she ain’t even know it,” he raps on Rocko’s “You Don’t Even Know” featuring himself and Future. “I took her home and I enjoyed that, she ain’t even know it.” Basically, he drugged her up and then had sex with her while she was unaware of her surroundings. Insane! A Detroit radio station is now taking a stance, deciding to ban both his music and Lil Wayne’s for their violent and disturbing lyrics. Of the latter, he made a reference to the tragic story of Emmitt Til on Future’s “Karate Chop,” likening his brutal beating to sex. Check out the statement WUVS-LP The Beat made on their stance below. I think it’s amazing what they’re doing! I love both Wayne and Ross, but there needs to be some more responsibility put in place. They’re public figures, after all!

(Video) T.I. Distributed COCAINE Where ?!?!

I hope that this isn’t to glorify the fact that some rappers have done the whole “trapping” thing. The Warner Sound has created a new series called ‘My Method’, which has artists talking about the TRUE stories behind the lyrics in their music. For this installment, T.I. takes us back to his old stomping grounds where he sold crack/cocaine, while breaking down the lyrics to his song, “Wildside“. I can almost see the comments for this one. Drop down bottom, check out the video and let me know what you think.
