Ohio Police Chief Hospitalized After Accidentally Eating Cake Laced With Pot
An Ohio Police Chief felt sickly after eating a piece of cake he found in his fridge, without knowing that it was laced with cannabis. The Laurelville Chief, Mike Berkemeier then drove to the hospital for medical testing. While at the hospital he found out the cake had been left there by a friend of his daughters, and that the cake contained the psychoactive chemical component that causes a high from marijuana. There’s no word of criminal charges according to the Associated Press.
Too $hort Charged For DUI Incident!!
Earlier we reported that Too $hort was arrested for a DUI, yet even after trying to run away from the cops he managed to beat all felony charges. Unfortunately, Mr. $hort was hit with four misdemeanor charges by the L.A. City Attorney, two counts of DUI, one count of possession of a controlled substance and one count of possession of Marijuana or an open container while driving. The hearing is set for April 15th, hopefully his legal team can save him. Too $hort maintains that the meth found in the back of his cruiser did not belong to him. Hit the jump for more.

A new survey from the Pew Research Center shows that a majority of Americans would support legalizing marijuana. More than half of Americans have tried marijuana at one point or another, and generally speaking the War on Drugs is considered an expensive failure. In addition to that, Americans spend more per person on incarceration of small-time crimes such as possession than any other developed country.
