Mexico To Change It’s Name

Mexico is making moves to change it’s name to…Mexico. You probably didn’t know but Mexico is really “United Mexican States” and just called Mexico for short. Now, 200 years later, Mexico will actually be able to call itself Mexico. Mexican officials who deal with diplomatic relations and official documents inregards to public relations are the only people who still call it “United Mexican States.” President Felipe Calderon announced on Thursday that sent a piece of legislation to the Mexican Congress to make the name change official. NCAA: Big East Commissioner Mike Aresco Says The Conference Will Not Change It’s Name
