Nelson Mandela was an amazing man that did amazing things.  The world lost a great man today & the world is a better place because of him.  I learned of his death today through an ESPN alert & thought it was important to share his connection to the sports world. Nelson Mandela was a man who believed that sports could unite a country. He led South Africa out of apartheid and used what he called, “power of sports to unite people.”  If you don’t understand, you need to google it asap.
