Last Sunday, Dez Bryant, wide receiver for the Dallas Cowboys broke a small bone in his foot during a match up against the New York Giants. Bryant was shown celebrating after the Dallas victory, but that was when team doctors thought he’d only be out 4-6 weeks. Post-surgery, Dez is expected to miss more than half of the season! One can say that Bryant is not celebrating anymore.

Victor Cruz, wide receiver for the New York Giants, became an instant sensation during the 2011 NFL season. Between his athletic talents, gorgeous smile, and ritual salsa-touchdown-dance, Cruz won the hearts of men and women everywhere. In October 2014, Cruz tore his patellar tendon and has since been working his way to a comeback. With Odell Beckham Jr., Rashad Jennings, and Rueben Randle being forceful threats to opposing defenses, the Giants were hoping to have Cruz back as the icing on the cake. Unfortunately for the New York squad, Cruz is still being ruled out for this Sunday’s home opener.

The New York Giants lost a heartbreaker to their NFC East rival, the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday night. Not only did quarterback Eli Manning make the ill fated decision to pass the ball on 3rd & goal, he also told running back Rashad Jennings not to score a touchdown. The last tidbit was revealed by Jennings himself and now he’s apologizing for telling the world and throwing Manning under the bus.

JPP decided to upload a workout video on his Instagram account of his training, proving that he’s ready to get back in the game.
