A Colorado Planned Parenthood was placed on lockdown after an active shooter opened fire. Commander Kirk Wilson confirmed three officers were injured while hospital officials were expecting at least four patients. There has yet to be an arrest and may be other hostages taken with the shooter. “We don’t have the suspect yet and we do consider this still an active situation,” Lt. Catherine Buckley told reporters. “There are a lot of possibilities with this scenario,” she said. “As I said, it is very active and we are working our way through it.” Hit the jump for more.

Justices Decline To Hear Planned Parenthood Funding Case
In a victory for Planned Parenthood, the U.S. Supreme Court on Tuesday declined to consider whether the state of Indiana can prevent the nonprofit, which is the country’s largest provider of abortions, from receiving federal Medicaid funding for any medical services it offers to low-income people. Planned Parenthood is the country’s largest provider of abortions, conducting about one-quarter of those performed in the United States.
Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Fund Reverses Planned Parenthood Decision
Yesterday Marisa reported that the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Fund was cutting it’s funds to the Planned Parenthood organization. The Komen org. was “officially” cutting funds to PP because they are currently under investigation by Congress but sources believed that it was due to PP’s abortion services.
