Reports Say A 911 Call About Prince’s Cocaine Usage Was Made In 2011

Some interesting records from the Carver County Sheriff’s Dept. have just been released. According to TMZ, the records show that on June 20, 2011, someone placed a call asking for help from them, because they were “concerned about Prince’s cocaine habits.” The unknown female caller said that Prince had told her the year before in Germany that he “cannot control his habit,” but that was all she had. The Sheriff’s personnel late deemed the case stale and closed it.

Today, the first probate hearing was held for Prince’s estate. Most of his siblings showed up, and they signed off on Bremer Trust bank being named special administrator of the estate. Prince’s half brother, John R. Nelson, was not in court, and his attorney said he did not sign the consent form…however, the judge approved the petition to put the bank in charge. John was the only living sibling not present. Tyka – Prince’s only full sibling – reportedly feels she’s entitled to more than 1/6 of the estate, though under Minnesota law, all 6 siblings share equally. It looks like this can get messy.
