NBA: Mark Cuban Apologizes To Trayvon Martin’s Family

Since this morning, the sports world has been talking about Mark Cuban because of some comments he made in an interview about racism (see details here).  Twitter seems to be split on how they took his words.  Well Cuban has issued an apology to the family of Trayvon Martin on Twitter.  He claims he wasn’t thinking & didn’t consider Martin’s family when he mentioned a black person in a hoodie in a conversation about prejudice. NBA: Kobe Bryant Explains His Controversial Comments Surrounding Trayvon Martin

Kobe Bryant caught a lot of flack when an interview was released about his supposed stance on the Trayvon Martin situation.  Kobe basically said he won’t react to something or jump to the defense of someone just because they’re African American.  Many people took the comments to mean that Kobe wasn’t showing support for Trayvon, the young teen who was shot and killed while walking through his father’s neighborhood unarmed.  Yesterday Kobe took to his Twitter account to clear a few things up.

Uh…WHAT? George Zimmerman’s Parents Sue Roseanne For Trying To Get Them Lynched?

Robert and Gladys Zimmerman, have brought suit against funny lady Roseanne Barr, claiming she tried to rouse a lynch mob to terrorize the parents of Trayvon Martin’s killer. In the suit, Robert and Gladys claim feared for their lives after Roseanne made angry comments about them and posted their address on Twitter in 2012. They’re suing her for $15k minimum, for “intentionally trying to cause emotional distress and great physical harm by inciting mob violence.” Do you think they’ll get anywhere?
