The Brooklyn Nets lost to the Chicago Bulls last night during game 7 at the Barclays Center, eliminating them from the playoffs. In preparation for next season, they’ve let go interim coach P.J. Carlesimo. Read more after the jump.
Nets general manager Billy King announced that P.J Carlesimo would not be brought back as the Nets coach next season.
According to Adrian Wojnarowski:
Nets search for a new coach has started. P.J. Carlesimo won’t be brought back. Jeff Van Gundy is a top target, sources say.
The team has also cited that there is no timetable to find the next coach.
