Zack & Cody’s, Dylan Sprouse has spoken out against those criticizing his new found employment in a NYC Restaurant! Although many may believe he is broke because he has taken on the average job, the ex Disney Star is stating other wise, hit the jump for more detail!
Dylan Sprouse took to his tumblr to respond to the hate on his new career choice! The brothers ended their Disney career and picked up the books in 2011 as they began their journey as college students attending NYU. He expresses that the reason he has picked up the new job is to feed his “video game addiction” and serves as a scapegoat and sense of normality for the ex disney star. He posted:
“So many pictures have gotten out that I’m now working as a host at a restaurant in NY. To clear up the air (which is admittedly pretty rude), I did not take this job because I “lost all my money,” I am financially secure, and took this job as a way to primarily feed my over bountiful video game addiction.”
“I also took this as a way to try a new experience, working somewhat below the means I’m used to, as well as a way to socialize and get out of the house. I feel most comfortable when I’m working and doing something, to criticize someone of that is pretty odd. I will potentially return to acting someday, but in no way do I think any experience is a step down for me, but rather a new step in another direction.”
I mean C’mon the twins hit stardom as their kid roles in Big daddy, then 6 years on Disney, they were also dubbed two of the wealthiest children alive in 2007 and 2010 were the highest paid teen actors on the Disney network; what’s the problem with the young man trying to gain some sense of normality, broke or not!
