A man shooting rain video out the window of a plane captured some an incredible footage Tuesday. Jack Perkins was delayed in Atlanta when he pulled out his phone, and he caught a lightening bolt strike a plane sitting on the runway! Hit the jump for the video!
Jack Perkins was sitting on the runway of Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport, delayed due to weather, when the bolt hit another plane.You can hear while filming that he didn’t even react to the lightning strike on the 737. He didn’t realize he captured the moment until he watched the video back later on. There were no reports of injuries among the 111 customers and six crew, a rep for Delta told CNN. The flight was on its way to Las Vegas and the plane took off nearly two hours late at 7:32 p.m. ET but landed only about 20 minutes later than scheduled, at 8:11 p.m. PT.
