Earlier this month, we covered the story about Von Miller being fined for his hip thrust celebration dance that cost him almost $12,000. It is now being reported that the dance came from a skit featured on the hit-comedy show, Key & Peele.

In honor of the dance, comedians and stars of the show, Keegan Michael-Key and Jordan Peele, donated to Miller’s charity, “Von Vision.”

Keegan Michael-Key and Jordan Peele must’ve been feeling a little responsible for Miller’s fine as the dance that was considered ‘unsportsmanlike conduct” in the NFL, was in fact inspired by a skit that they performed.

Peele sent out a tweet stating,

“Keegan and I gave Von Miller’s awesome charity #Vonsvision the amount of his recent fine. You should too. Get kids glasses! #threepumprule.”

He also tweeted explaining that Miller had been fined, just about the same about of money that it cost them to film the skit and that he and Key would be donating the same amount of money to the charity that helps families with children who need glasses, but cannot afford them.

Though many were annoyed and disgusted by the dance, seeing it as disrespectful and vulgar, some good did come out of it, as Miller posted on Instagram that the fine/donation helped to purchase over 450 pairs of glasses for the children.
