Azealia Banks is notorious for speaking her mind on Twitter about everyone and everything. When she made some homophobic slurs on Twitter, Black Lives Matter activist Deray McKesson was NOT here for it.

The exchange started when Azealia responded to hair stylist Elgin Charles comment:

“spe[nd] less time on social media and MORE time in the studio.”

She proceeded to call him offensive names causing Deray to step in and mediate the situation. After he

suggested she change her choice of words, Azealia stated:

“Faggotry is rooted in misogyny. not homosexuality.”

The debate continued until Azealia eventually asked for a donation she contributed to McKesson and his campaign fund. Clearly, Azealia isn’t afraid to go toe to toe with anyone.
