(PHOTO) NBA: Ummm, It Looks Like Jason Richardson Has Gained Some Weight During the Offseason

It’s always interesting to see what NBA players look like coming back from the off season.  Most of the time, the players stay in good shape — but randomly you get the ones that either lost a good amount of weight or gained a ton of weight.  That leads us to Jason Richardson.  Yea, he put on some pounds BUT he did have knee surgery, so he’s kinda excused.  I say kinda because it seems like he just ate what he wanted.  Fans joked that even Raymond Felton was shaking his head at his weight gain. Lol. Check it out…

NBA Throwback Story: Allen Iverson Once Gave A Ball Boy $2,000 To Buy What?!

Gotta love a good throwback story, esp. when it involves Allen Iverson.  So where is this ball boy story coming from?  A senior writer for Sports Illustrated … who was that Celtics ball boy.  I think it’s so great that he can tell a story like this. Check it out…

With Allen Iverson’s official retirement announcement around the corner, a lot of AI memories have been brought up.  How can you think of AI and not think of his infamous “practice rant?!”  It just goes together like peanut butter and jelly.  So apparently this rant came from the inspiration of a drunken conversation with Gary Payton. Check out his story after the jump & let us know what you think…

NBA: 76ers CEO Apologizes To Fans For Ever Bringing Andrew Bynum To Philly!

I think it is safe to say the Andrew Bynum experiment in Philadelphia was a complete disaster for the team. They gave up Andre Iguodala, who at the time was probably their best player, to get Bynum. When the 76ers roster was put together on paper with Bynum, they actually looked like a pretty decent team. However an entire season passed and Bynum never played one single minute with the team. Not only that, but he seemed to not even care about it either. It sounds like 76ers CEO Scott O’Neil noticed as well. Hit the jump to see the apology he gave to all fans of the team.
