Council Woman Mary Cheh has proposed a bill to change current legislation, which she believes is too broad in describing “Assault On A Police Officer”. She says the Chief of Police backs her in her efforts to stop the unfair amount of serious charges associated with minor actions.
Prince To Perform A ‘Rally 4 Peace’ Concert In Baltimore
Last week, Prince released the tribute track titled “Baltimore“. In addition to the new song, he has also made the announcement that he will be performing – most likely “Baltimore” – at a ‘Rally 4 Peace’ concert in Baltimore. The Baltimore chapter of ‘Big Brothers Big Sisters of America’ has received a staggering 3,000 percent increase in mentor applicants in just a few days! This surge, the organization said, is the biggest in their entire history! “To have people reach out and say, ‘I want to make a commitment for the next year of my life spending every week with a young man or woman,’ is blowing my mind actually,” President and CEO of Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Greater Chesapeake, Terry Hickey, told NBC News.
