This weekend was THE one for award shows. Not only did MTV’s Video Music Awards pop off in a booty-tastic way, but on Friday, at the Pantages Theatre in Hollywood, the BMI R&B/Hip Hop Awards was jumping off. To honor him for his influence in the entertainment industry, Ludacris was honored with the President’s Award and celebrated with other artists – Future, Hit Boy, August Alsina, Faith Evans, Lorenz Tate, Chris Brown (who also won the BMI Special Citation of Achievement award), Zendaya and more. Gucci Mane Sentenced To 3 Years & 3 Months In Prison For Federal Gun Charges!!!
Radric Davis b.k.a. Gucci Mane a.k.a. Big Gwuop went to court Wed., August 20 and was sentenced to three years and three months (39 months) in prison stemming from his Atlanta arrest.
