An effervescent Russell Westbrook said he’s ready for Saturday’s first team practice — albeit in a limited capacity — but he made no promises for the Oklahoma City Thunder’s opener on Oct. 30 at Utah.  Read more after the jump.

NBA: Nuggets, Rockets, Grizzlies & Thunder All Pursuing Mike Miller With Durant & Gasol Recruiting

Good shooters will always have value in the league even a heavily injured three-point specialist like Mike Miller.  He was amnestied by the Miami Heat after contributing to their back to back championships and now some big contenders are in hot pursuit.  Read more after the jump.

NBA: Serge Ibaka Says Kevin Martin Is Going to Leave the OKC Thunder

The Oklahoma City Thunder had a roller coaster of a year, trading former Sixth Man of the Year James Harden, Russell Westbrook injuring his knee in the first round of the playoffs and then the Thunder subsequently losing in the second round.  Now with the playoffs winding down and the offseason approaching some changes will be made in the organization and Serge Ibaka gave some incite into one of them.  Read more after the jump.

NBA:(Photo) Iconic Picture Captured In Aftermath Of Tornado’s In Oklahoma

By now I am sure most of you have heard about all the effort Kevin Durant has been making to help the people of Oklahoma who suffered through one of the worst Tornado’s in American history. Besides donating $1 million dollars himself, he personally has been on hand to help clean up debris, and was answering phones on behalf of the red cross. You can read our previous coverage about his efforts HERE. KD was already a king in the eyes of OKC fans, but if it’s even possible he stepped up another level with his show of compassion for the people. After the storm, someone captured an amazing sports picture that should prove to be iconic for years to come. Through all the damaged buildings and debris all over the place, a random Kevin Durant jersey was hanging from a broken piece of wood that I assume used to belong to a home or other building. Nobody has said anything about them being the person who hung the jersey there or anything. Is it possible that somehow the jersey wound up hanging there during the storm? Yes, even though it is more likely someone hung it there afterwards as a sign of thanks to the player, but it can also be a symbol of hope for the people of the area to know they have such good people like KD, Westbrook and other OKC players…

NBA Report: Oklahoma City Thunder Plan to Keep Kendrick Perkins Not Amnesty Him

Many people assumed the Oklahoma City Thunder would face the Miami Heat in the NBA Finals again this year but after they traded James Harden and Russell Westbrook suffered a season ending injury, they didn’t even make it to the Western Conference Finals.  Of course some changes will have to be made during the offseason and many have speculated that Kendrick Perkins will be one them but that might not be the case.  Read more after the jump.

NBA:(Video) Kevin Durant Doesn’t Give A Damn What People Think!

Kevin Durant has been taking a little heat since the Thunder lost to the Grizzlies in the second round of the playoffs. Hard to blame a guy who had to throw the entire team on his back and do everything, but it comes with the territory. After making a comment the other day about the season not being a waste, some idiots in the media began to question his hunger to win. All this because a couple years ago when the Lakers lost to the Mavericks, Kobe said any season that doesn’t end in a championship is a waste, but Durant disagreed. Yesterday, the Thunder players had their exit interviews for the season with the media, and KD put them in their place. Check it out after the jump.
