The ruler is back – at least that’s what Remy Ma’s MDV Custom Cakes cake had plastered on it during a dinner in the Bronx, last week. To celebrate all of the support she’s received from her family, friends and fans while a resident of Bedford Hills Correctional Facility for Women in Bedford Hills, New York, Remy hosted a gathering for many to enjoy. Just one day after the September 2nd release of his fifth studio album Seen It All: The Autobiography, the trap star OG Young Jeezy hit the stage in NYC for a private album release concert hosted by Hot 97. The Snowman performed some tracks off his new album including “1-4 Block,” “Beautiful,” “Me Okay” and of course his smash-hit single Ft. Jay-Z, “Seen It All.” He also took us back with some oldies including “Put On,” “I Luv It,” “Tear It Up” (for the ladies) and many more. However, what made the night even more epic was the long list of surprise guests that Jeezy brought out to the stage with him. Akon, Remy Ma, Bobby Shmurda, and Future were all apart of last night’s festivities. (Even Mack Wilds made a special appearance on stage to support Jeezy!) As the beef between Lil Kim and Nicki Minaj continues to go on (solely from Kim’s side, though,) Remy Ma has something to say about it. In a recent interview, the newly freed raptress (who has expressed the desire to work with all of her fellow raptresses) said the following:
“It’s been going on for too long. That’s one thing. On Kim’s part, I would have liked if she put out more music. Not just music directed at the person she’s upset. Just music in general. If you feel like you hold a certain position, it’s so easy to prove that by putting out [new] material.”
