(Video) Miss Columbia Sits Down With Steve Harvey Jokes “You Need To Learn How To Read”

As promised, Miss Columbia appeared on Steve Harvey’s talk show for a sit-down interview and apology. Ariadna Gutierrez aka Miss Colombia revealed that she is no longer holding a grudge against Steve Harvey,however she did offer him some advice. When Steve Harvey asked, Gutierrez for her honest opinion about how he handled the Miss Universe pageant mix up she said jokingly, “You need to learn how to read cards.” The two went on to look back at the awkward moment during the pageant and Miss Columbia revealed “If you see the videos, I was laughing because I thought you were about to make a joke.” Harvey replied, “That would have been the worst damn joke I ever wrote in my life.” Check out the clip below.

The huge mixup at the Miss Universe pageant back in December, where host Steve Harvey accidentally read the card wrong and said Miss Colombia was the winner when in reality, it was Miss Philippines that took the crown is still taking it’s toll on both the host and the pageant queens. It has now been reported that Steve Harvey has invited both Miss Columbia and Miss Philippines to his show to have a face-to-face apology. Miss Columbia who was humiliated when she had her crown snatched, even managed to make a deal with NBC to appear on Harvey’s talk show, “Today,” and Telemundo. The ladies will appear on the Steve Harvey show separately and we already have a clip from the winner, Miss Philippines’ time on the show and Harvey sobbed as he apologized for his mistake. The peoples choice award didn’t waist any time capitalizing on the mistake of another man, though it was certainly entertaining. Just In case anyone got amnesia, during the 2015 Miss Universe pageant on live television Tv host Steve Harvey Crowned Miss Columbia the winner of the pageant, only to realize moments later that the actual winner was Miss Philippines, Pia Wurtzbach. The Host had to De-crown Miss Columbia only after publicly apologizing. Of course that wasn’t enough to stop social media from going into a meme frenzy. Thought not the first to announce a wrong winner publiclly, he is the first to invite the runner up to his talk show to further discuss the issue.

The Miss Universe contest is now behind us, however, the mistake that shamed a nation is still being talked about. Steve Harvey, who called on Miss Columbia as Miss Universe when in fact it was Miss Philippines that won, himself has finally opened up about the ordeal and the possibility of the mistake being a publicity stunt. “Why the hell what [sic] I do that? I’m already famous,” says Harvey on his WBLS 107.5 radio show. “Do you really think I wanted to be famous like this?” While there was some blame placed on the teleprompter, the television host says he will continue to be the one who the people can finger-point at. “Did I make a mistake? Yes I did. I’m not in the finger pointing business and rolling other people the bus,” he said.


Miss Columbia Now Claims The Miss Universe Disaster Was Planned To Humiliate Her

Hindsight is usually 20/20 but for beauty queen Miss Columbia it may not be all that clear. The Miss Universe Pageant runner up caught up with TMZ recently and revealed that she thinks the pageant is rigged. In case you missed, pageant host, Steve Harvey mistakenly crowned Miss Columbia when in fact, Miss Philippines was the true winner. Miss Columbia aka Arianda Guitierrez was mortified when her crown was taken back on live TV. After weeks of silence, Gutierrez says she believes it was all for a rating boost, she added, “If that was the goal, they succeeded.” More below.
