Steve Harvey may be the most talked about man in America right now, but he did his job, and did it well. The Family Feud host announced the incorrect Miss Universe and immediately took blame for the mistake.

“I will take responsibility for this,” Harvey said. “It was my mistake. It was on the card. Horrible mistake, but the right thing — I can show it to you right here,” he added as he show the crowd the card he was reading from.

Thanks to his quick actions, not only does his wife has his back, but Harvey has been spoken highly of by Mark Shapiro, Chief Content Officer at WME|IMG.

He’s [Harvey] “did a great job. He was funny, he was informative, he’s high energy, he’s got a great following. … I definitely want him back, and I would hate to see him not come back. He’s going to want a shot to redeem himself,” Shapiro said during at chat on Jim Rome’s CBS Sports Radio show.

In the words of Dada, “players f**k up,” and the Belize Tourism Board also understands that. The Board does their part by asking the popular television host-via Twitter-if he would not mind coming back.
